Strengths: Crystal clear picture quality, Easy to setup and use
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: Its best TV. 6ave.com delivered within 5 days. Picture quality and sound are excellent for this mid-priced HDTV. Higher priced models may win in a comparison, because of more advanced video technology, but you can't beat the quality in this price range. Set up is easy and, in game mode, this TV can keep up with the most action packed games. I appreciate the multi-function remote control.

Strengths: Crisp clear picture, nice sound, easy set-up
Weaknesses: Only 2 HDMI inputs - but this room only has 1 device that requires an HDMI so far.
Summary: I have read a lot of bad reviews on lower priced sets and was a little concerned. I can happily report that this one works very, very well right out of the box. The set-up was very simple and straight-forward - four screws and the base was installed. Plugged an HDMI for Uverse (1080i) and a video/audio for DVD/VHS combo and was in business in less than 20 minutes. Picture is clear, sharp, bright, no dead pixels and the factory defaults are very good. I later tweaked other settings making minor personal changes after reading the rest of the manual but there were very few changes. This was not my first Toshiba product and won't be my last!

Delivery took about 5 days to TX using the free UPS Ground shipping so free shipping should not be a show stopper.

Strengths: We have had Toshiba products for almost 30 years with only one TV product that only lasted 8 years with difficulty. Currently we have 8 LCD TV's plus rear projection set spread over 5 locations..no problems.
Weaknesses: Have seen better picture quality, but not that much better for the price and seviceability of Toshiba branded products.
Summary: Decided on Toshiba products when transferred to FL Tampa Bay area and noticed Toshiba televisions were utilized by Busch Gardens in most harsh conditions. Still stand by my position and has worked for me.

Strengths: Clear picture, great sound

Summary: I have had this TV since October, 2008. It has been used daily and has never had any problems. My kids also use it to play their wii games on. The picture quality is fantastic and so is the sound.

2 Star Review32av502r
Strengths: picture quality
Weaknesses: have to continually shut it off and back on when changing channels
Summary: will switch between channels correctly only when output ratio remains costant, if you go from 720p picture to a 420 p or 1080p it needs to be shut off for a second, every time,, i had my cable installer come out and see my connections, [hdmi $50 cable], 2 different cables, and or inputs,, and he said my tv is junk, so i slod it to my sister, she will use component cables it works most of the time with those,, stay awy from refurbished toshiba's

Strengths: Price, fairly good picture/sound
Weaknesses: Remote is poor, can't control DirecTV box On/off from remote doesn't work unless in the EXACT right spot
Summary: 2009-09-14 16:46:52 Overall, its a decent TV. I got it for $300, so I can't complain too much but there enough flaws to see why it was $300. My biggest complaint is that the Toshiba remote can't control the DirecTV box and the DirecTV remote can't turn the TV off. The DirecTV remote CAN handle volume and whatnot but neither one does everything.

I have a Sony, Vizio, and Toshiba. I'd rate the Toshiba in the same class as the Vizio, but still worth the $300 I paid (ebay).

Strengths: Price is great in comparison to value of viewing quality. The audio quality does leave a lot to be desired....but with a H/V system, it makes no matter.
Weaknesses: Audio problems are easily overcome with an inexpensive Home Video system that I have utilized....suggest Panosonic SC-PT670 for value/quality upgrades poor sound quality to superb for the price level
Summary: Overall, one can easily spend less than $630 and receive a very high return on investment for high quality products.....sure works for me!!! I have personally spent more than double the price for equal or less quality that I received on these two products alone....I was stupid!!!!!

Strengths: Manual that came with it was easy to understand when connecting everything. Picture is clean.
Weaknesses: They don't name the cords that are needed to purchase so you can make all the connections for your usage. You have to get the TV first then figure it out.
Summary: I had to get the TV first before I knew what cords I needed. Then I had to search a little on line for cords that were really needed for hooking this to my equipment. Specific problem with understanding I needed a male to male 15 prong connection for it hook to my PC. It would be nice for more information so I could have decided if the 'package' of cords that were suggested to buy, are really a need for me and my usage. Sound was good until I hooked up a home video on the screen then it sounded like the bass had some problems. I will be using surround sound, once I get the cords.... Again wish I had previous knowledge so I could be up and running.
